Analu is a wonderful guide who helped make my trip to Costa Rica truly memorable; she is extremely knowledgeable, organized, approachable, friendly and fun. Apart from being a great guide she is one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met.

I had the pleasure of meeting Analu in April of 2013. My friend Pam and I joined a tour group to travel around Costa Rica and Analu was our tour guide. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. She made sure all planned activities were organized and helped us figure out any of our own activities, such as setting up transportation to and from an orphanage when I was the only one who wanted to go. And it’s the little things that make her special too…like handing out Costa Rican postcards under all of our hotel doors to wish us a Happy Earth Day. She took care of us when each of us unfortunately inevitably got sick as well and made our stay in Costa Rica feel like home. Analu was a wonderful tour guide but more importantly exulted such beauty, inside and out. She truly made our trip that much more memorable

Traveling through Central America in a small group was one of the best experiences of my life so far, and would not have been so without the wonderful Ana Lu as a guide. She continually went above and beyond what was required of her to make sure we all had an unforgettable time – even giving us a beautiful impromptu yoga lesson on a hotel rooftop in Guatemala! I managed to injure my foot a few days into the trip, and Ana was so kind and reassuring in helping me to locate medical care and to translate the doctor’s Spanish to English. Ana Lu’s warmth, spirituality and positivity radiate from her – she is one of the best people I have ever met and I feel truly lucky to have traveled with her

I and my family had the pleasure of spending time with Ana Lucia in Costa Rica. Our trip was fantastic on so many levels because she personalized the experience. Ana Lucia has a rare gift for helping people to understand the locale, intertwine it with the practice of yoga, and inspire everyone to reach a level of fulfillment. She is a beautiful person and we could not have been more pleased.

I met Ana in the summer of 2008 while vacationing in Costa Rica through a tour company called GAP where she was the tour manager for my group. It was my last free summer before attending medical school and I wanted to go on one last adventure. From the moment I met Ana at the hotel the first day, I knew that it was going to be a incredible two weeks. Right away, I could tell that she was warm and sweet, and made an effort to get to know each and every person on the tour. Thanks to Ana’s preparation and planning, our experience was seamless as it spanned 5 destinations throughout Costa Rica in 2 weeks with multiple modes of transportation. More important for me, Ana was so much fun to hangout with and she has a wonderful adventurous personality and a loving heart of gold to match. Rather than simply acting as our tour guide, she put in the time and effort to accompany us and participate in the activities and trips, even putting on a surprise acoustic guitar performance for us during dinner one night. My favorite memory and experience from the trip was when she accompanied me on a day trip to Rio Celeste where we hiked for hours deep into the rainforest and eventually ended up at a stunning waterfall with crystal blue waters as blue as the sky. Ana embodied all the wonderful personality traits of a genuinely good-hearted person while possessing unique characteristics that makes her a free spirit, and she represented her country’s ideals of “Pura Vida” to the utmost. During my time with her, she inspired me to keep on traveling and explore the world; but more importantly, she taught me a tremendous amount about love, compassion and respect for both people and nature, which I have held close to my heart in my personal life and throughout my medical training. I always hope that I will be able to run into her again some day
