About the venue: Tiskita Jungle Lodge

15 casitas surround the lodge and are nestled in the jungle, allowing guests to experience the robust amount of wildlife all from the comfort of their front porch hammock. Guests constantly report spotting titi and capuchin monkeys, agoutis, coatis, macaws, toucans, and so many more. There'll be no need to hike into the jungle...staying at Tiskita means that you're already there.

The cabins were built using precious woods like mahogany, purpleheart, and rosewood. The wood was collected over the years, mostly from trees that fell down in Tiskita. All cabins are only a few minutes walk away from the lodge, the rainforest, and the beach.

Privacy

The cabins are spread out around the lodge and landscaped to ensure privacy. Tiskita’s small number of cabins also helps to ensure privacy.

Wildlife

Each cabin is surrounded by trees that attract birds, butterflies, monkeys, and other wildlife, making the cabins’ decks often one of the best spots to relax and watch wildlife go by.

A waterfall and fresh water pools are located near the lodge. The trails into Tiskita’s private biological reserve and the organic orchard also start at the lodge. Plus, you will be walking distance to the most famous Pavones Beach!

Healthy food is offered by the restaurant. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate milk, tropical fruit juice, and filtered water are available at the lodge throughout the day, free of charge.

The lodge has a small gift shop with apparel, jewelry designed and made in Costa Rica, and crafts made by the Guaymí, the local indigenous population.

Program

Certifications

The course / hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.

About the training

Immerse yourself in the transformative resonance of sound healing at Pranaluz’ sound healing training. Learn to wield a sound healing journey through diverse instruments such as shamanic drums, native flutes, rattles, Tibetan and crystal bowls, and gongs, and learn how to use mantras and voice as an instrument of healing.

Through a deeply integrated blend of theory, practice, daily yoga, breathwork, mantra, meditation, and philosophy, this training will empower you to feel confident, ready, and empowered to lead with intention, heart, and confidence in your own sound journeys during classes, at retreats, on trainings, and in workshops.

What you will learn with Analu

Using diverse instruments

You will learn to work with drums, flutes, rattles, and other native instruments, as well as with quartz and Tibetan singing bowls, koshis, dijeridu, bells, gongs, and various stringed instruments. You will be able to purchase your own set of instruments sooner or later.

Vibrational sound therapy

Through practical and theoretical classes, you will be able to understand the secret universe of Akasha and Nada yoga; how frequencies, vibrations, resonances, and harmonics work, and how to use them for individual and group healing.

Philosophy

Pranaluz Conscious Living will teach you to understand at a subtle level what happens in the different bodies (physical, emotional, mental, luminous, and pranic). You will learn about the philosophy of prana (life force), the chakra system, cymantics, music and sound frequencies, resonance, Nada yoga, neuroscience, and the quantum physics of vibration.

The chakra system

Dive into the deep philosophy of chakras and discover how to lead sessions with instruments based on the chakra system. Learn how to teach the philosophy in a workshop or retreat setup and how to apply it in a practical session using instruments, sound, and mantra. Explore philosophy, energy work, pendulum, and how to lead individual and group sessions focused on the chakras.

Music theory

It's important for Pranaluz Conscious Living to teach you music theory, notes, different scales, harmonics, and the energy and resonance that different notes have when healing. Playing any bowl or any chord is not the same as playing any bowl; it should create resonance. You'll be learning a lot about notes, chords, and music!

Voice activation

Do you want to deepen the healing power of music and the voice? Through workshops and practice, you'll explore the voice, mantras, and music theory to learn how to use it with greater confidence and inner wisdom. You'll explore the voice and how to improvise melodies!

Mantras

Through practical and theoretical classes, you will be able to understand the secret universe of Akasha and Nada yoga; how frequencies, vibrations, resonances, and harmonics work; and how to use them for individual and group healing.

Leadership and holding space

Learn to lead and hold the space, how to set up, lead, and share with others during your classes, workshops, or just for fun! Know how to share from a deep place of the heart, and become a vessel, a messenger through sound and voice.
