The 300-hour yoga teacher training in Dharamshala is open to students who have already completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training from Raj Yoga School or another recognized training center. Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Kangra Airport (DHM), also known as Gaggal Airport. This is the closest airport to Dharamshala, located approximately 20 kilometers from Bhagsu. From the airport, you can take a taxi directly to Bhagsu, which usually takes around 30-40 minutes. Kindly share your arrival details in advance if you would like assistance arranging a transfer.
Arrival by bus
Bhagsu does not have its own bus station, so you should book a bus to Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj. Several private bus companies operate overnight routes from cities such as Delhi, Manali, and Dehradun. The journey from Delhi takes approximately 11-13 hours, with options ranging from standard buses to more comfortable services.
State-operated buses by Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) can be booked online and provide reliable connections. From Pathankot, buses take approximately 4 hours to reach Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj. If your bus stops in Dharamshala town, you can continue by local bus or taxi to McLeod Ganj and onward to Bhagsu, which is just a short ride or walk away.
Arrival by train
The nearest major railway station is Pathankot Junction railway station, located about 90 kilometers from Bhagsu. Pathankot is well connected to major cities, including Delhi, and is commonly reached by overnight train.
From Pathankot, the most convenient option is to continue by bus or taxi to Dharamshala or McLeod Ganj (approximately 4 hours). There is also a scenic narrow-gauge train on the Kangra Valley line, though it is significantly slower. Once in McLeod Ganj, you can reach Bhagsu easily by taxi or on foot, depending on your luggage and preference.
