"A life changing experience"
It truly was a life changing experience for me. I can't forget the moment when we all received the instructor certificates. It was very touching and overwhelming. If you are looking for a place to transform your life, Rishikesh Nath Yogshala is the place. From the day one to the last day of training I never regreted I chose this school. They have the best yoga teachers and amazing Philosophy and Meditation teachers. The food is amazing and the room is decent. One thing that I highly compliment is that the staffs are incredibly kind and helpful. I messed up with my flight back to San Fran, thankfully staffs were there to help me and take care of me. Without their help I would have gone back home and start working on time.... I am forever grateful. I will definitely go back to the school for 300hours yoga instructor program.
As one of my yoga classmates said, "Come without expectations and enjoy every moments!" :)

I loved all!!!! The school, staff, classes, teachers, location, accommodation, FOOD! I mean there is nothing I would like to change. Since arrival they care of you as you are their brother or sister. Our amazing coordinator did sometimes even more than we were expecting. I feel very greatful to every one and specially teachers, their passion and knowladge is so great and wonderful. There was no class I did not like at all. Every single subject or class I had enjoy 100%. Also schoo provides you beautiful and tasty food. During days off I really did not get bored, because we could join unforgettable excursions together (waterfall, rafting, temples and so on). School is located in hill, so you have breathtaking view of whole Rishikesh in morning till evening from the roof and studio! Who is in this school feels as a member of great, kind and friendly yoga family. I am happy I had chosen this school and I wolud do it again. "Rishikesh is the perfect place to learn yoga "
So much. My first time in India, the people are so friendly and will do anything to help you feel comfortable. I was picked up by the shool from Dehradun a few days before the start on time. Then was given a room to nap in before mine was ready. The course was intense but all the instructors have such a passion for their job they inspire you to push yourself and really learn in depth the meaning of yoga. The food the school provide is great too, porridge usually breakfast the Dahl and curries at lunch and dinner. You have a coordinator who looks after you so well and will sort any problem you have! Rishikesh as a place is amazing, a lot of yoga students in the same place = a great atmosphere. It's a simple life but if you love yoga you will love this course.

"Life changing experience!"
This experience was something else. Yoga instructors are all very knowledgeable and I could tell that they are passionate about Yoga and sharing their knowledge with others. They all are not only nice, friendly and smiley but also, run the classes with disciplines to maximise the learning experience and minimise the injuries. That was the perfect combination of fun and serious learning. You will learn a lot, like A LOT.
Food-wise, amazeballs!! All very fresh and cooked in a hygienic kitchen. It was the first time for me to be a vegetarian in my entire life but, surprisingly I did not miss meats what so ever since food was amazingly good. I couldn't get enough my Chapati. haha
The staffs who work at accommodation are very kind and always smiley towards everyone to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible.
The coordinator here is great too! He is always making sure we are doing alright with classes, adapting the new environment and having a great time in Rishikesh in general. He is a fun, accommodating, responsible and great coordinator overall.
Location is.....breathtaking. The accommodation is just by the Ganga and Rishikesh has the very special atmosphere. I cannot describe with words. It's positive but calm, spiritual but vibrant. You should go there to feel it by yourself. It is truly special- I've never felt that before.
I cannot thank enough and it's hard to express how grateful I am to experience all the things that I've experienced in Rishikesh. My classmates from all over the world are now my lifelong friends and I am thankful for Yoga to unite all of us in the Yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh.

"Phenomenal Yoga Experience in Rishikesh"
This program was undeniably the best experience I could have asked for in a yoga retreat that also provided a teacher training course. It was spiritual, educational, and so much more than merely becoming a certified yoga teacher. I learned how to channel my inner energies to develop peace within myself. I made lifelong friends who journeyed here from around the world, much like myself. In coming here, I learned more about India's beautiful culture and also about who I am. All of the teachers taught life lessons beyond just the structured content in which we had to learn. The food was delicious every day, and the coordinator was more than accommodating to all of our needs. This journey was so magical for me that I extended my stay one more month to further my learning here and to reap all the benefits of Rishikesh before returning home. My yoga practice was much improved, and I am thankful for the chance I had here to deepen my understanding of true yogic practices. I will absolutely be back to Rishikesh, the original yoga capitol of the world! Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a special place for me and for everyone involved in this program. This last month truly was an inspiration and a reprieve from my habits of the Western world.

"Fantastic teachers, great planned weekend activities."
The Hata, Ashtanga, Alignment and Anatomy teachers really opened my mind to what traditional yoga is all about. This was a refreshing perspective away from the trendy, commercial yoga that I have been exposed to previously in western studios. The school also made a great effort giving us a true indian experience. Location of the school is great. I had an amazing experience and everything exceeding all my expectations.

Philosophy classes were a great treasure
Each part like anatomy & alignment were coordinated well with hatha & ashtanga classes.
All differemt parts blended very well creating one flow.
All teachers were eagerly teaching & attempting to give the best.

I appreciate the regularity, the serious and the quality of the teaching. All the teachers, in their subject, gave to us the best of themself. The immersion during one month, learning philosophy, meditation open a new dimension in our yoga practice. The anatomy course complete the information given during the yoga asana course. i don't forget the pranayama, the ayurveda and the chanting course which help us to improve our breathing, our presence during the yoga practice. Thank to the teachers.

"Incredible yoga experience!"
The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of yoga - though we got plenty of the physical asanas of yoga (and I loved the way they taught and modified for our various levels), we also learned about the history, philosophy, and meditative practices involved to deepen our practice. It's in a great location - close to a lot of cafes, shopping, fresh fruit, and of course, the Ganga River. There are opportunities for outings every weekend to experience the culture and the adventures in Rishikesh. The manager of the program is the absolute best - he took care of us like family! If we needed anything, he was quick to help. Food (and lemon water!!) is delicious. I created a new yogi family with the group and staff, for which I'm very grateful!

"My 28 days..at Rishikesh Nath Yogashala"
An experience that i will carry with me and in me for a lifetime. All the instructors were great gurus. Their passion and understanding, words of encouragement, their sharing of knowledge was simply awesome.
Each and everyone of them treated us with so much love, it was like being in one big family.
The 10 of us bonded so well with all the Gurus and I learnt alot and it was totally an eye opener for me as to the true meaning of Yoga. The blending of Pranayama, Asanas & Meditation is what Yoga is all about.
And I learnt it all in this intense 28 days.
I will go back to my home country, Malaysia, carrying with me this wonderful knowledge and I am definitely going to share my unforgettable experience with all my yoga instructors and yogi friends.
Thank you so very much

"An incredible yoga journey at the Rihsikesh Nath Yogshala"
My time at this school was truly one of a kind. The main guy running the course (Arvind) kindly picked me up from overnight bus when it arrived in Rishikesh and brought me safely back to the school. The staff at the school are absolutely wonderful and always go out of there way to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible (expect constant teas brought to you). The teachers at the course are all specialists in their area and give a high standard of teaching. However at the beginning of our course (in week one), our yoga teachers didn't seem to have the ability to teach people how to be teachers (perhaps explaining some of the previous negative reviews). However after discussing this with Arvind (the course leader), he took on our feedback and immediately made changes. Two days later we had two new yoga teachers who were absolutely brilliant. I can honestly say that I've walked away from this course will full confidence in my teaching abilities (so much so that I have a teaching job lined up over Christmas). You'll find that after this course, you'll have a much deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, meditation and pranayama practices.
I am able to confidently lead and instruct a class with full knowledge of how to perform the adjustments in a safe manner. The location of the school is great as it's really close to cafes and little street markets and not too far to walk to Luxman Jhula bridge. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone.

"A home away from home!"
My time with Rishikesh Nath Yogshala was amazing! In just a short duration with the school, the team became a second family to me. Everyone was so welcoming, kind and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect for my stay. The coordinator, Arvind, went above and beyond to ensure my happiness.
The food was great, with a lot of variety between salads, vegetables, curries, dal and more. The accommodation was also exceptional, especially if you’re used to staying in hostel dorm rooms! The rooms are large, with big balconies, large bathrooms, and comfortable beds.
The teaching staff were super passionate and knowledgable. I’ve walked away with a much deeper understanding of meditation, philosophy and pranayama. My asana practice has really strengthened up with the Ashtanga and Hatha yoga classes.
I would recommend Rishikesh Nath Yogshala to anyone looking to gain their yoga teacher training certification or to take part in a yoga/meditation retreat!

"Inspirational and Transformational"
I loved the philosophy aspect of the course and also the challenge that came with the physical practice which really went back to foundations as well as more advanced asanas.
The variety of topics covered and level of detail was at a decent level to understand concepts but not to get post in the detail.
The style of asana practice with physicAL adjustments between students was super helpful.
The food was delightful thanks to the amazing staff and the cook, thanks to student coordinator and other staff member to go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Would 100% visit again.
Powerful energy, real transformation

"Lying about surroundings+ very bad service from organizer"
- Very good teachers.
- One very good and effective staff member, that got us what we needed at once.
- Very good internet the first two weeks.
The only reason, why I rate this course "Okay" and not "Bad" is because of the teachers. It is good quality teaching, and I learned a lot from them.

"Value for money"
Quality of the instructors. Quality and willingness of the accomodarions staff to assist and help within their capabilities. Our coordinator Arvind did a very good job trying to please us and improve the training facility and at hawk students requirement.
He organizes tours and went out of his way to make the road trips enjoyable.

The teachers were amazing!!
from United States, September 2017
The experiences I made on my own after the countless disappointments experienced at the school. Two of the excursions to the dam and to the waterfall were the best things facilitated by the school.
from United States, June 2017
The education that we received was excellent and I'm overjoyed to have studied here.
The staff was extremely friendly and interactive and I had a blast with them. I love those guys and miss our dance parties!!!
We had four really amazing excursions during the time of our study: rafting, a temple and a dam, a cave and a waterfall. A great way to break the monotony of the week and explore India!
The quality of the teaching was very high. The teachers were open to questions and gave great explanations. Anatomy was exceptionally good-- I understand the body better now than I did after 2 semesters of college anatomy and physiology. Philosophy was comprehensive.
Food was great. Some people thought it was monotonous but it was always delicious and pretty healthy. The kitchen staff are so sweet, too!
Overall an amazing experience. I think this is a new program and that explains their organizational issues. When everything gets ironed out it will be a truly spectacular School.
