Program

The 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Samadhi Yoga Ashram is an advanced and deeply immersive program spanning 29 days. It is designed as a natural progression from the 200 Hour Kundalini Tantra course, taking students deeper into the principles of Kundalini awakening, Tantra, and meditation. The daily schedule is carefully structured to balance physical practice, theoretical study, energy work, and personal reflection, creating a complete and transformative yogic experience from the earliest hours of the morning through to the close of each evening.

Morning schedule

  • 05:00 Yoga Sadhana
  • 06:00 - 07:30 Pranayama and Meditation
  • 07:45 - 09:00 Kundalini Asana Practice
  • 09:15 - 10:00 Breakfast

Afternoon schedule

  • 10:20 - 11:10 Alignment and Adjustment
  • 11:20 - 12:10 Yoga Philosophy
  • 12:30 - 13:15 Mudra, Bandha and Kriya
  • 13:20 - 14:00 Lunch
  • 14:00 - 15:00 Digest and Rest
  • 15:45 - 16:45 Yoga Anatomy

Evening schedule

  • 17:00 - 18:30 Hatha Yoga
  • 18:45 - 19:30 Dinner
  • 21:00 Lights Off

Each day begins before sunrise with Yoga Sadhana, a personal spiritual practice that forms the sacred foundation of the Kundalini journey. This early morning discipline cultivates the inner stillness and focused awareness that is essential for the advanced practices to follow. Students then move into pranayama and meditation, working with powerful breathing techniques and Kundalini-specific meditations to awaken and direct the inner energy. The morning closes with a dynamic Kundalini asana session before students gather for a nourishing breakfast.

The academic heart of the program unfolds through the morning and early afternoon sessions, covering yoga alignment and adjustment, yoga philosophy drawing from Patanjali Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavat Geeta and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, as well as dedicated classes in mudra, bandha, and kriya practices that are central to Kundalini awakening. After lunch, students are given time to digest, rest, and engage in self-study before returning for an in-depth yoga anatomy session that explores the body's energy channels, chakras, and subtle systems from a Kundalini perspective.

The evenings bring a Classical Hatha Yoga session, providing a grounding and integrating physical practice to close the active portion of the day. After dinner, students are encouraged to rest and observe inner silence as the ashram gates close at 10 PM, supporting the discipline and depth of practice that this advanced training requires.

Throughout the course, students also participate in special experiences including weekend excursions, a Himalayan cave meditation trip, a sightseeing journey to Kunjapuri, Indian classical dance sessions, Reiki healing sessions, and music and dance therapy, all of which enrich the overall Kundalini journey and deepen the sense of community among students.

Included excursions

The 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Samadhi Yoga Ashram includes a carefully selected range of excursions and special experiences that extend the journey of Kundalini awakening far beyond the yoga hall and meditation room. Each excursion is thoughtfully woven into the program to connect students with the sacred landscape, ancient spiritual traditions, and living culture of Rishikesh and the surrounding Himalayas, enriching the overall transformation that this advanced course offers.

Himalayan Sightseeing Trip to Kunjapuri

Students are taken on a sacred sightseeing journey to Kunjapuri, a revered hilltop temple high in the Himalayas offering sweeping panoramic views of the mountain range and the valleys below. Kunjapuri is considered a deeply powerful spiritual site and visiting it during an advanced Kundalini training adds a profound dimension to the experience. The raw energy of the Himalayas, which has been the home of Kundalini masters and yogis for thousands of years, makes this excursion a genuinely moving and spiritually charged experience.

Himalayan Cave Meditation Trip

One of the most extraordinary and unique experiences included in this program is the Himalayan cave meditation trip. Students venture into the ancient mountain caves where great yogis, sages, and Kundalini masters have practiced deep meditation for millennia. Meditating in these caves, surrounded by the silence and power of the Himalayas, is a profoundly rare experience that naturally supports the advanced Kundalini awakening work being undertaken throughout the course. For students on this 300 Hour path, this excursion carries a particularly deep resonance.

Weekend Excursions

Regular weekend excursions are organised throughout the course, giving students the opportunity to explore the spiritual, cultural, and natural wonders of Rishikesh and its surrounding areas. These outings provide a meaningful and refreshing break from the intensive daily training schedule while keeping students fully immersed in the sacred atmosphere of the region. They also serve as wonderful opportunities for the student community to bond and share experiences outside the classroom.

Indian Classical Dance Sessions

As part of the rich cultural and creative dimension of the training, students participate in Indian classical dance sessions. Rooted in ancient devotional tradition, Indian classical dance is deeply connected to spiritual expression and the awakening of inner energy, making it a natural and joyful complement to the Kundalini practices at the heart of this course. These sessions bring lightness, creativity, and celebration into the overall training experience.

Reiki Healing Session

Uniquely included in the 300 Hour Kundalini program, students receive a group Reiki healing session during the course. Reiki is an ancient energy healing practice that works with the body's subtle energy systems, complementing the Kundalini awakening work in a deeply supportive way. This session offers students a direct experience of energy healing and provides a valuable additional dimension to their understanding of holistic wellbeing and spiritual practice.

Music and Dance Therapy

Students also participate in music and dance therapy sessions during the course. These sessions use the healing power of sound, rhythm, and movement to release emotional blocks, awaken joy, and support the deeper energetic transformation that Kundalini practice initiates. Music and dance therapy bring a vibrant, expressive, and community-building energy to the program, beautifully balancing the more inward and meditative dimensions of the Kundalini journey. Location

Samadhi Yoga Ashram is beautifully located in Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, nestled on the sacred banks of the holy Ganga river. Rishikesh is universally celebrated as the Yoga Capital of the World and stands as one of the most spiritually significant destinations on the planet, drawing seekers, practitioners, and students of yoga and meditation from every corner of the globe. The ashram is cradled by the magnificent Himalayan mountain range, whose towering peaks and pristine natural energy create an environment of extraordinary power and depth, making it one of the most ideal places in the world to undertake an advanced Kundalini practice.

The ashram is positioned on the quieter, more tranquil side of the Ganga riverbank, away from the louder and more commercialized touristy areas of Rishikesh. This peaceful setting is especially well suited to the deep inward journey of the 300 Hour Kundalini Tantra and Meditation program, where stillness, focus, and spiritual immersion are essential. Despite this serenity, the ashram remains conveniently close to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, so students have everything they need within easy reach.

The surrounding neighborhood is alive with spiritual and cultural richness. Students can visit the iconic Laxman Jhula suspension bridge, explore ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and other Hindu deities, attend the deeply moving Ganga Aarti ceremony held on the riverbanks each evening, and take sacred dips in the holy waters of the Ganga river that flows right beside the ashram.

Typical meals include fresh Indian dishes such as dal, rice, sabzi, roti, soups, salads, fresh juices, and seasonal fruits. The kitchen also cooks for the Guru's family who live on the ashram premises, which gives the food a genuinely home-cooked quality that many students find deeply satisfying.

Vegan students are welcome to inform the ashram in advance so the kitchen can make suitable preparations, as the standard food is vegetarian but not strictly vegan. Students with specific dietary requirements or allergies are also encouraged to communicate their needs to the ashram team before arrival.
