This intense 200-hour intensive Ashtanga yoga teacher training course is offered for students to get detailed knowledge of all aspects of teaching beginner and experienced Ashtanga yoga practitioners for three weeks.
During this training, you will be offered a room at the WOW Phuket Hotel, which is a few minutes walk to the yoga shala.
WOW Phuket HoteI is a new hotel with all the facilities needed and a swimming pool. Some of the hotel facilities include a 24 / 7 front desk, Wi-Fi, restaurant, swimming pool, car park, and taxi service.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
After completion of the course, you will receive a teaching certificate confirming your qualification as a yoga teacher. Also, after completion of the course, every student gets a basic anatomy course attendance certificate.
This anatomy certificate does not certify you to do any medical activity, but it confirms the course attendance and shows the evidence that you have a basic knowledge of human body structure, its functions, the locomotor system, and more.
Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Shala Pro (TAYSP) offers an 200-hour Ashtanga yoga teacher training course that is suitable for people with minimum experience of personal practice of yoga. The students get detailed knowledge of all aspects of teaching beginner and experienced Ashtanga yoga practitioners over a course of three weeks.
The course includes daily Ashtanga Vinyasa practice, breathing exercises, pranayama, yoga Nidra, the art of adjustment, meditations, an introduction to Kriyas, ancient yoga text studies, Indian philosophy, anatomy, yoga therapy, teaching ethics, chanting, and several workshops (additional techniques for body performance improvement).
During the training, students will get detailed knowledge and practical experience, which is essential for deepening personal practice and building a strong foundation for your teaching activity.
The intensive 200 hours of training (practical part and theory) give you detailed knowledge and practical experience, which is essential for both deepening your own personal practice as well as a strong foundation for your teaching activity.
For the teacher training course, For TTC course we make an emphasis for the practical part. By the end of the course the students will know posture alignment, foundation/modifications and adjustment for the postures for different body types/level of practice for the most of Primary Series sequence. Also the students will be trained to create and perform their own class for different time frame and level of difficulty. When the course is finished our students perform safe adjustment of fundamental elements and knowledge of the sequences using vinyasa method.
We train our students to be comfortable in teaching classes, radiate confidence in their personal practice as well as in guiding others.

Sofya is studying under the guidance of R. Sharat Jois at Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Institute in Mysore, India - the place where Ashtanga yoga, as a set of asana and pranayama practices, was systematized and preserved. There in Mysore, she was also studying Ayurveda, Sanskrit, and ancient yogic texts. She was also trained and certified as an asana and pranayama teacher at Tattvaa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. As a yoga teacher, she is known for her warm and light way of teaching yoga, which creates a special atmosphere in her classes.
Rich's passion for personal development brought him to meet and learn from different teachers in Europe, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Thailand, over the years he has been exploring asana and pranayama practice, Kriyas, meditation, Ayurveda, Reiki, Su Jok, cold water treatment and art of cooking healthy food. Rich is famous for his warm and personal approach to the teaching of yoga. He is talented with a special natural vision of students' needs which allows him to guide them in their practice in the right direction to achieve the best result on their path of yoga.
The retreat location is in the Chalong area, south of Phuket, Thailand. The location of the yoga shala is at the lake, surrounded by a park. The biggest temple complex of Phuket, Wat Chalong, is within a few minutes walk. The Big Buddha of Phuket is also close by and can be seen from the yoga shala.
You will be provided with healthy food which is perfect to support yoga practice. Meals are from Monday to Saturday, 18 days with meals for 3 weeks.
Spa treatment is available but not included in the package. It comes with an additional cost.
