During this training, you will be accommodated at Cosmos Oasis 2 in Canggu, Bali.
Cosmos Oasis 2 is a western-inspired yoga ashram where cool, contemporary design meets functional simplicity and comfort. A beautiful, spacious yoga shala overlooking the rice fields, a shared kitchen area, and open lounging areas where you can hang out, study, and socialize.
The rooms are all in true western-inspired ashram style; small, simple, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need for when you are not busy with the training or out and about exploring Canggu and Bali.
Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different from a hotel. Generally, there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.

With the flexible hybrid option, you can now complete your YTT part in person in Bali and part online. You can design your own 200-hour YTT journey, tailored to your needs and availability.
You choose! How long you would like to join The Peaceful Warriors in Bali; 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or 4 weeks. And you choose what you would like to experience in person, and what you would prefer to study online. Anything is possible. And they will guide you every step of the way.
The Peaceful Warriors offers on-site and off-site accommodation
They believe that you should get to choose your Bali home for the duration of your yoga teacher training journey. You choose if you would like to stay on-site at the YTT venue. They offer a variety of affordable accommodation options.
Alternatively, It’s absolutely no problem finding accommodation in the neighborhood. Generally, about 50% of the students choose to stay off-site. And it makes absolutely no difference to the overall experience of the training.
The Peaceful Warriors offers flexible booking terms
Though the deposit to secure your spot is non-refundable, it is never lost. If you, for whatever reason, are not able to join as planned, you can transfer your deposit indefinitely, to a future date, or to the 200-hour online YTT Pathway or any of their other online offerings.

The Peaceful Warriors provides all graduates access to the free 7-day yoga habit course, you are encouraged to start immediately after you've completed the training. You will be invited either to host or join in every Sunday to share a practice / flow of your choice with one another! Giving you the opportunity to check in and practice with them and your YTT community after completion of your 200 hours YTT.

The training is set in the tropical and spiritual surroundings of the beautiful and magical island of Bali, Indonesia, a yogic paradise.

As part of the training, you will have the opportunity and freedom to experience Bali for yourself, and they will also invite you for a visit at Tirta Empul Temple for an enriching cultural and spiritual experience.
The training is taking place in Canggu a surfer town turned digital nomad heaven and one of the most popular destinations in Bali. Packed full of amazing health-conscious, hipster cafes, local eateries (aka Warungs), restaurants, yoga studios, gyms, fitness centers, health and wellness spas, and lots of creative spirits, yogis, and surfers. All of the comforts right at your fingertips, while being tugged away in a secluded peaceful corner at our YTT venue Cosmos Oasis.

Once or twice a week, there will be a scheduled evening program. The evening activities consist of philosophy lectures, Kirtan, movie night or meditation.

No prerequisite reading is required. All obligatory reading and study material will be provided during the course of the training.
Included excursions
As a part of the training, you get to visit Tirta Empul Temple (Bali’s Mother Temple) an enriching cultural experience as well as a day trip to Bali Water Temple (spiritual cleansing) including lunch.
There is also one surf lesson included in the training. They work with the highest level of professional surf guides, to ensure you will have the best time whether it’s your first time or you are an experienced surfer.
The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School offers you the opportunity to surf while you deepen your yoga practice and become a yoga teacher. The Shala is 10 minutes away from the beach and some of the best surf breaks in Bali.
Instructors
Bente Andersen
Bente first came in touch with yoga in late 1990. She completed her formal yoga teacher training at the Jungle Yoga Ashram in Thailand in early 2010. She is certified in Hatha Vinyasa yoga and in the Tantric yoga philosophy and tradition. Bente strives to inspire her students to always move with ease. She embraces a creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the diversity of Vinyasa yoga. She creates space and courage to grow and transform, to move past the comfort zone on and off the mat!
Latifah Sipahutar
Lala trained with the Peaceful Warriors in August 2017 and describes being a peaceful warrior as respecting that yoga has many different approaches, staying humble and keeping an open mind, challenging the limits but remaining at peace with whatever comes. Currently, she is teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga in Canggu, Bali. In January 2020 Lala went to India to complete her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training to deepen her understanding and develop her both her practice and teaching.
Magdalena Janik
Meet Magdalena, a passionate and experienced yoga teacher dedicated to sharing the transformative power of yoga with her students. With over 1000 hours of training under her belt, Magdalena has honed her expertise in various yoga styles and modalities. Magdalena’s teaching style revolves around mindful vinyasa, where she seamlessly blends movement with breath, creating a flowing practice that nurtures both the body and mind. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to challenge students while encouraging them to cultivate awareness and presence on the mat.
Avi Basuki
Avi is an energy worker and sound alchemist. Having trained with Rainbow Kids Yoga and Calm Classrooms, as well as studying with various advanced teachers from the traditional tantric yoga lineage, shamanism and the magic world of sound healing. Avi will bring the unique use of music and sound into this heartfelt training with her sound therapy.
Amanda Stephanie
Amanda was born and raised in Bali. She was first introduced to yoga by a friend, who told her it could heal the mind, strengthen the body & improve overall health. She found this very inspirational, and in turn, it gave her the motivation to start practising. She was able to discover how yoga works for her, building her mind, body, and soul both on and off the mat. This created a strong passion to delve deeper into the practice.
Diaz
Diaz projects happiness and creativity in his teaching. Blending Vinyasa Flow, Budokon, Qigong, and Inside Flow make the dynamic fusion between mindfulness, movement, strength, and challenge in his class. His 500 hours of yoga teacher training and background as a choreographer lend a whole new dimension to his class as he sequences the poses like a dance. He will guide your practice out of the box and set your mind and body to expand all sorts of possibilities. His class is fun, playful, energetic, and funky all at the same time.
Michael Lewis Green
Since completing his first 10-day Vipassana retreat in India in 2007, Michael has studied and practiced different meditation techniques and traditions, including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Dzogchen, and others. His personal practice is in the Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhist tradition. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University and is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner from Southern California University of Health Sciences. He completed his meditation teacher training at UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC), and is a certified mindfulness teacher.

Nestled in between beautiful green terraced rice paddies and black sand beaches, Canggu is the bohemian home away from home for yogis, surfers, spiritual seekers, conscious hipsters, and healthy foodies. Canggu is the perfect balance of Balinese culture, authenticity, and cool comfort. Canggu feels more like a state of mind than an actual place.
The Peaceful Warriors Yoga School considers Bali a part of the yogic path and they structure the course in such a way that you have time to explore this magical place. And as part of the course, they offer you the opportunity to see Bali from a yogic point of view and invite you to experience some of the amazing things that Bali has to offer.

One weekly breakfast every Monday and a final group graduation dinner are included in the price. Lunch and dinner meals can be enjoyed as you desire. Bali is like yogic food heaven, spoiled with options when it comes to affordable, healthy, delicious vegetarian, vegan, and raw foods.
Plenty of cafes around offering both local and western options such as fresh salads and acai bowls, as well as more traditional Balinese cuisine and western favorites. Local coffee, smoothies, and fresh juices are abundant in this little surf town.
