There are many amazing options nearby with ocean views, beach bungalows, and five-star resorts. You can easily walk to the shala. A morning shuttle service is available for a small fee.
3D Homestay
3D Homestay (two minutes drive) is a budget ocean view resort with private rooms and shared rooms with two beds. All rooms have AC, balcony, TV, mini fridge, bathroom, towels, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have ocean views.
Naturela Homestay
Naturela Homestay (four minutes drive) offers cozy stays with an outdoor pool, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have balconies with pool views, and all include AC, a desk, seating area, wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom. Naturela Café serves Western and Oriental dishes, packed lunches, and special diet meals.
Gatsby Hotel (four minutes drive)
The homestay offers rooms with air conditioning, shared dorms, private rooms and bathrooms, and free WiFi. Each room is equipped with a wardrobe and desk. Program
Pre-application requirements
- You must first complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training, but you do not need teaching experience
- You do not need to be super flexible or do advanced poses
- You should be practicing yoga regularly every week
Certifications
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
How the training works
The course consists of 80 hours of on-site training and 200 hours of online program. During the residential part, you will receive immersive training in Vinyasa flow yoga, anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology, adjustments, sequencing, and teaching practice, plus special workshops for Aerial, Acro, and Yin yoga. All classes are guided by a senior E-RYT 500 trainer with over 10 years of teaching experience (No interns or newly certified teachers). You will attend optional afternoon classes or do more online work and enjoy a longer break.
Explore beautiful Uluwatu beaches, cafes, and shops in your free time. Day one starts at 17:00, and the last day ends at 12:30. This part of the course has no days off. If you miss class or need an extra break, you can make it up online. The online portion includes pre-recorded videos covering all topics. You can complete this work before or after the onsite training by working at your own pace, which can take up to two years to finish. You will have lifetime access, forever available as a lifelong resource. This training focuses on Vinyasa yoga.

10 vs 14, 21 and 28 day trainings
- 10 day focuses on Vinyasa Yoga. 14/21/28 are Multi-style.
- Online studies: 10 day has 200hr, 14 has 180hr, 21 has 130hr, 28 has 75hr.
- 10 day has class everyday. 14/21/28 have half Saturday off and all Sunday off.
- 10 day has optional afternoon class. 14/21/28 have longer breaks.
- 28 day, the last week focuses on aerial or yin yoga.
- 10-14-21-28 day all start together and train together.

Instructors
Manjeet Mathur
Manjeet started yoga and self-awareness path in 2009. He completed his 200-hour, 300-hour, yoga therapy modules 1 and 2 multi-style YTT with Parimukti Yoga in India. He also has certifications in meditation training and Iyengar yoga. Manjeet has taught 3000+ hours in 50-plus yoga and meditation teacher training specializing in Hatha yoga, meditations, practical yoga philosophy, chakras, pranayama, and more. He has a very human approach to yoga and believes in personalizing practices for everyone. Emotional awareness and making a light, playful space also is Manjeet's specialties.
Edward Pawlak
Edward (USA) started yoga in 2007. He has studied and taught all over the world and completed training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, traditional Thai massage, meditation, and Aerial yoga. In 2014, Edward founded ULU Yoga and began offering 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training. Before yoga, Edward taught university education, worked in music theatre production and volunteered at numerous permaculture farms and eco-retreat centers. Edward’s passion is to inspire others through creative exploration and empower students to change their lives to help others.
Héloïse Chong
Héloïse has been teaching yoga since 2013 and has been dedicating the last six years to following her heart and deepening her own practice in the Himalayas, Thailand, and Bali. She is a certified Vinyasa and Restorative yoga teacher and has completed additional training on the Chakra system, Thai massage, SUP yoga, Aerial yoga, and multiple modalities of emotional and energetic healing. Héloïse believes that yoga is a tool that can be used for self-healing, and purification of mind, body, and soul, as well as a path back to your true self.
Leila Freidman
Leila Friedman (Swiss) has a dynamic range of life experience and skills to share. She grew up traveling the world as a fashion model, actress and TV host. She has completed several 200 and 300 hour Teacher Trainings in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Pre and Post Natal, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Kids Yoga, Trauma informed Yoga. Leila is a certified Holistic Health Coach, NLP life coach, Human Design Reader, Level 4 Heart Centered Reiki Grand Master Teacher, Advanced Chakra Healing Practitioner, and a Raw Vegan Dessert Chef. She has been teaching yoga since 2011 and is a Yoga Alliance RYT-500.
Bianca Ragone
Bianca (USA) is a committed yoga practitioner and teacher with over 1,000 hours of training since 2009. She holds 200HR and 500HR Yoga Therapy certifications and has studied Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar yoga, specializing in props and adjustments. Bianca also trained in Thai yoga massage, craniosacral therapy, and mindfulness practices for special needs children and trauma victims. Additionally, she is a certified school teacher with a Master's in Education and over 11 years of teaching experience.
Macarena Bravi
Macarena is a yoga teacher and dancer who discovered yoga’s impact on the subtle body through dance. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Creature Yoga in Byron Bay in 2017 and now teaches in Uluwatu at studios like Alchemy Yoga, Mantra Wellness, and La Tribu. Her classes emphasize strength, balance, and grace through dynamic movements and pranayama. She teaches Vinyasa, Slow Flow, and Yin Yoga, focusing on emotional well-being and authentic self-connection. Macarena has also studied with renowned teachers like Patrick Beach, Noelle Connolly, and Simon Park.
Marylene Henry
Marylene is an RYT500 + YACEP with Yoga Alliance, founder and lead teacher of Zazyoga, and Doctor of Osteopathy. She also works with other schools in Bali and Dubai to teach Vinyasa, yoga anatomy, therapeutic yoga, Asana labs, philosophy, etc. Her specialty is functional anatomy, accessible yoga (adaptation of various practices) and art of sequencing classes. She also teaches pranayama and meditation, as well as yoga nidra and restorative yoga.
Lia Treuner
Lia (Germany) is known for her graceful presence, intuitive teaching, and deep connection to subtle energy. Her classes invite students into a sacred space of softness, embodiment, and self-inquiry. She combines strong foundations in Hatha and Vinyasa with a love for Yin, Chakra Flow, and energy healing to create nourishing, heart-led experiences. Lia began her yoga journey in 2018 with a 200-hour training in Hatha and Ashtanga, followed by a 300-hour h in Hatha and Vinyasa in Nepal. She has since expanded her education with a 50-hour Yin Yoga training and Reiki Master certification.
Arbely Rubalcava
Arbely, originally from Mexico and raised in Montréal, discovered yoga at 18 as a path of healing after leaving competitive gymnastics. Since completing her first 500hr YTT in India in 2009, she has taught internationally for over 16 years, studying Ashtanga with Sharath R. Jois and leading teacher trainings worldwide. She believes yoga is a grounding, healing practice accessible to all and is dedicated to guiding students toward deeper self-connection.

In-person training
Bali is a tropical island paradise known as the Island of the Gods. Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful parts of Bali with stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and world-famous surfing, hip cafes, beach bars, boutique shops, live music, dance, spas, and massage. In your free time, you can visit Uluwatu's amazing beaches, watch the Balinese dance show at Uluwatu temple, go shopping in magical Ubud, swim in waterfalls above the clouds in Munduk, hike 10,000 meters up to Mt. Agung, go snorkeling or diving in Amed, or go island hopping in the Gili’s.
Le Bamboo Resort
This training takes place at Le Bamboo Resort, a beautiful ocean view boutique resort, just a few minutes from famous Bingin Beach in Uluwatu, Bali. Le Bamboo has a gorgeous infinity pool and yoga shala surrounded by lush green nature. You can easily walk to many great cafes, shops, and accommodations.

Packages with accommodation include a nourishing vegetarian breakfast on training days, featuring a wide variety of delicious options to suit all dietary needs. For lunch and dinner, you can easily add meals onsite for just $3–5 per dish, or go out and explore the many wonderful cafes nearby in the village or on the beach.
