3D Homestay (12min walk)

Aerial yoga

Each morning includes a two-hour Aerial yoga class to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body and mind. Ulu Aerial Yoga is rooted in traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Classes are suitable for beginners. They can be dynamic and challenging, but they avoid advanced poses and tricky combinations.

Asana Lab

Each day you will study poses one by one in detail to learn safe practice, alignment, common mistakes, plus beginner and advanced variations. The poses are taught in order of a carefully designed sequence supported by a training manual and video series that we have developed for over 10 years.

Restorative Aerial

Combine Yin yoga and physical therapy techniques with long held deep stretches and traction to decompress the spine, relieve back pain, access deeper layers of fascia tissue, plus release trauma and stress to promote somatic self healing.

Partner Aerial yoga

A creative exploration with two people working together in one swing for enhanced traction, balance, and Acro skills in ways you never imagined possible. It is incredible fun and makes for great group bonding and amazing pictures.

Acrobatic Aerial

Learn to flip, fly and link everything together to create dynamic sequences. How far you go depends on the overall level of the group. However, even beginners can succeed in the basic techniques and they aim not to exclude anyone.

Teaching practice

Teaching is a great way to deepen your practice—it helps solidify your knowledge, builds confidence, and strengthens group connection. You will practice teaching everyday, learn teaching methodology, plus design and teach one complete class. It’s a fun challenge and there’s no pressure to be perfect, just enjoy it.

Anatomy

Examine the construction of the spine and learn how to cure back pain with traction and decompression.

Beach yoga

Finish the course with an amazing Aerial yoga practice on the beach. Take amazing pictures flying over the ocean. Learn to set up portable tripods, and other techniques to safely lead your own demonstrations. In case of poor weather (rain or high tide) we will have class in the shala.

Aerial Swing

Practice with Ulu Yoga’s signature AirSwing—a cushioned aerial hammock designed for superior comfort and control. The AirSwing can be folded or rolled to accommodate various poses and body types. This makes it especially beginner-friendly and versatile, enhancing all styles, from restorative to acrobatic.

Online studies

As a special bonus, you’ll receive 1 year of free access to their online course. This allows you to prepare in advance, review materials after your training, and even make up for any onsite hours you may miss through additional online studies.

Skill level and requirements

Participants should be in good physical condition and practice yoga or other fitness activities regularly. Try to take at least a few Aerial classes before starting this course. You should be able to touch your toes, hold plank for 45 seconds, do inversion against the wall for 10 seconds.

This training takes place at Ulu Yoga's beautiful new ocean view shala. Enjoy cool air-conditioning, a soft cushion floor, and clean new props. Train comfortably all year around protected from rain, mold, heat and mosquitoes. This private retreat is surrounded by nature, and closed to the public.

From the shala you are just minutes away from stunning pristine beaches with limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and world class surfing. Bingin is a hip little village with bohemian vibes, boutique cafes and shops, live music, dancing, sacred temples, and so much more.

Food

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). You can take a taxi to your accommodation. The average cost is 350,000 IDR (approximately 20 USD), and the travel time is 40-90 minutes, depending on traffic.

You can also order rides via Gojek or Grab (ride-hailing apps). Get a local SIM card at the airport for internet.

Let Ulu Yoga know in advance if you’ll be arriving late.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 14 days before arrival.
