About the training
Taking place in the peaceful and spiritually vibrant land of Bali, the course is appropriate for newcomers to the yogic world, as well as for professional yoga practitioners or wellness enthusiasts who want to enrich their practice and knowledge. No prior certification or experience is required to participate in this training. Discipline is the basic component of the Vinyasa Yoga Academy's 100-hour multistyle yoga teacher training course in Bali, both for the personal and for the group. The yoga family was born and raised in the karma yoga (selfless service) teachings of self-inquiry and conscious action - leading students to best sleep, balanced energy, a clear mind, less tension, and good health.
Transcendental yoga, inspired abundantly by the Himalayan yoga instruction, takes students toward a real yogic way of living, which is not restricted to practicing asanas. As a student with 100 hours’ duration, you are required to keep your own space clean, both personal and shared. This is a practice that develops humility, self-awareness, responsibility, and mindful living off the mat. While in training, students are asked to maintain a sattvic way of living that excludes meat, fish, eggs, alcohol, and tobacco, as these are considered to interfere with pranic balance and mental purity. The daily schedule at Vinyasa Yoga Academy, Bali, for the 100-hour multistyle yoga teacher training is slightly intense but equally balanced.
Days started dark with meditation, and developed into dedicated asana classes, lectures, theory, and then guided exploration through self-study under the watchful eye of experienced teachers. You have to be positive all the time, you must have discipline, and a good lifestyle. Early mornings, mindful eating, and getting eight hours of sleep will help to maintain physical strength, mental clarity, and deeper exposure to yogic living while in training.
Everyone is welcome, from beginners and regular practitioners to wellness seekers and those interested in teaching yoga. No prior experience or certification is needed. All classes are mandatory. Only in the case of an emergency or illness can one take leave with a respected teacher’s permission. Uninformed leaves will not be accepted and will affect students’ monthly performance.

Instructors
Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi
After practicing yoga from the very early age of 12, he decided to leave his family and friends behind to pursue the yogic path and meet his first yoga master - Narayan Muni at Jharsuguda Muni Samaj Yoga Ashram. It was here he took his first steps into the Himalayan tradition. In 1988, he met his second yoga master - Swami Niranjan Ji to learn the wisdom of the Vedas. There he came across the Jnana yoga (knowledge), which taught him important lessons on the path to self-realization. Yogi Vishnu was initiated into the Raja Yoga system by his great Guru Swami Veda Bharati and Swami Rama.
