Here you learn the Ganesha vandana classical dance. Here, it is a bhangi means you dance in such a way that you represent Ganesha in each of your gestures. Ganga Beach yoga sadhana
Many students lose themselves in the energy of Rishikesh, and the base of her beauty is Mother Ganga and the surrounding Himalayan foothills.
So that you can experience the energy and the beauty, Vinyasa Yoga Academy organizes yoga sadhana on the banks of the Ganga. Every Thursday morning, students will practice yoga sadhana on the bank of the Ganga.

Hatha yoga
The 300-hour Intermediate and advanced level traditional Hatha yoga practices are very special. In the beginning, they will teach the basics so that your body will be ready for the upper level. And once you continue to hold the posture for a longer time, and once you move with a rhythm, you find almost a dance. Many of the classical postures are the same in name, but there are different levels of practice in each asana. The teachers help you to perform with accurate alignment.

All classes are mandatory; only in case of an emergency or illness, one can take leave with a respected teacher's permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted, and this will affect students' monthly performance.

- It is mandatory to attend all of the classes and activities

- Misconduct and misbehavior will not be allowed or tolerated
Principles and guidelines
- Vinyasa Yoga Academy is a traditional and authentic Vinyasa yoga school in Rishikesh.
- Class starts in the early morning and goes on until evening. There will be a short break during and after each meal.
- Respect everyone inside and outside the campus.
- If you skip any meal, please inform the reception at least 3 hours before.
- Non-vegetarian food, smoking, and drinking alcohol are not allowed on the Vinyasa Yoga Academy premises.
General rules
- Modest dressing is mandatory on the premises.
- Silence should be maintained after 8 pm.
- Regular homework should be completed.
- All classes are mandatory to attend.
- Bring one pair of white clothes for the welcome ceremony.
- As a part of the evaluation procedure, there will be a final exam, both theoretical and practical.
- Vinyasa Yoga Academy reserves the right to disqualify any students at any time during the TTC for misconduct or breaking the rules.
- Pets are not allowed to be kept in rooms.

Instructors
Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi
After practicing yoga from the very early age of 12, he decided to leave his family and friends behind to pursue the yogic path and meet his first yoga master - Narayan Muni at Jharsuguda Muni Samaj Yoga Ashram. It was here he took his first steps into the Himalayan tradition. In 1988, he met his second yoga master - Swami Niranjan Ji to learn the wisdom of the Vedas. There he came across the Jnana yoga (knowledge), which taught him important lessons on the path to self-realization. Yogi Vishnu was initiated into the Raja Yoga system by his great Guru Swami Veda Bharati and Swami Rama.
Yogi Ashutosh Mishra
Yogi Ashutosh Ji is born and brought up in a Brahmin family in Rishikesh and has been practicing yoga from a young age. He is very much inspired by his father who is a full-time social worker. He has completed his Masters's Degree in yoga at Uttarakhand University and has been teaching Hatha yoga, alignment, and Vinyasa for the last 6 years.
Naveen
Mr. Naveen has been teaching yoga teacher training courses since 2015. He has trained over 1000 teachers in India and abroad. Most of his work is in the yoga capital, Rishikesh, India. He has also taught yoga in China and Vietnam. Naveen holds a Master's in yogic science and is a certified Prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher trainer. He has also done 500 hours of yoga TTC from the Yoga Alliance U.S.A. Mr. Naveen currently works with one of India’s leading Prenatal - Postnatal Yoga schools in Rishikesh, India.
