Curriculum
The core concepts of yoga are covered in the curriculum through core disciplines like pranayama, shat kriya, asana techniques, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, relaxation (yoga Nidra), and meditation. The school specializes in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and Hatha yoga asana practices.
Subjects covering the foundations of yoga make up the bulk of the training program. Some of the subjects covered include breathing exercises (pranayama), kriyas (shat), asanas (physical postures), yoga anatomy, nidra (meditation), and philosophy of yoga. Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Ashtanga Vinyasa are the asana practices that are offered at the school.
Each week of training consists of six days of intense practice followed by one day of planned rest. You have a full day of recovery to get ready for the next week. To ensure everyone enjoys a quiet day, the rest day is typically scheduled on a weekday rather than a weekend, when there are usually many tourists and traffic.
The course fee provides students with an all-inclusive package that covers accommodations and meals (except on the rest day) throughout the duration of the training.
