To offer the best and most pleasant conditions for this retreat, you will be in Ananda Forest in Southern Spain, where nature and natural comfort and beauty meet each other. Depending on your personal preference, you can choose to camp on land, stay in a beautiful glamping tent, or sleep in their wooden cozy cabin. The cabin and glamping tent(s) have all the necessary items provided: A comfortable bed, sheets, blankets, pillows, closets, towels, etc.
From the top of the land, you can enjoy stunning views over the mountains. From the bottom of the land, you can feel nestled in a valley, as if you are in the womb of Mother Earth, while you can enjoy unwinding in a comfortable hammock, or enjoying the many patios and gardens. And in the middle of the land, they have their temple or yoga hall waiting to welcome you for deep transformational yoga sessions and meditations. Besides the traditional teachings and classes, enjoy:
- Relaxing in one of their hammocks underneath an ancient olive tree and enjoying breathtaking sunrises on a one-and-a-half-hectare property
- Being immersed in nature and charging in the sunshine

All this, while immersing yourself in a deepening of your yoga and meditation practice to awaken your higher potential! This is all with little effect on the glorious planet, as Hidden Paradise is a completely off-grid and low-waste center. You will be staying in shared and single occupancy bedrooms in various dwellings built using locally sourced materials. Their big rooms can occasionally be shared by three people. If you specifically prefer a double room, you can let them know.
They are happy to find the best room to serve your needs and to make you feel totally at home and comfortable. Prices are always the same for a shared accommodation. Except for the option of camping with your own tent, guests are provided with a comfortable bed, complete bedding, sheets, blankets, and a towel. Additionally, all necessary supplies for yoga and meditation are available.

Every day, you connect with another element and experience that the same beauty and qualities of nature are reflected within yourself. You all have the potential to live in harmony with nature, joy, and peace. It is ultimately not something that you have to create - it is simply reconnecting with what you are eternal. The program is especially tailored to yoga teachers and more experienced yogis (ni)s, so that you can learn more in depth about asanas, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and tap into the deeper layers of yourself. As long as you feel prepared for more advanced and longer yoga practices, you are welcome to join the course even with less experience in yoga.

What will you learn?
Deepen your yoga practice
Everything in nature works through cycles. When you tune in to the natural cycles of the day and start your daily yoga practice with, or just before, the first light, you set the tone for living the entire day more in harmony, peace, and openness. The emphasis during the yoga sessions is on breath, awareness, and self-exploration. You will also look at the alignment of body, mind, and spirit while being guided by experienced and passionate yoga teachers.
Advanced pranayama (breathing techniques)
Pranayama is traditionally considered to be the most powerful practice of Hatha yoga. By slowing down the breath and shining the light of awareness on it, the mind naturally becomes still, transparent, and ready for meditation. Further, you will learn and practice powerful methods of fire breathing to awaken every cell of the body and fill your system with life force. As an ancient text on yoga says: ‘Prana is our best friend. Without it, nothing can be done.’ So, in order to be successful and fulfilled in whatever you want in life, get the prana flowing through your system.
Experience stillness
All branches of yoga, traditionally, are aimed at bringing unity and self-realization. Yoga cannot be separated from meditation. During this program, there will be several meditation sessions in which you will be guided back to the source within. Especially in this busy time of constant and rapid change, it is essential to reconnect to the anchor and unchanging background of your being. You will explore several meditation techniques, and they will happily assist you in finding the technique that suits you the best, as everyone is unique.
Celebrate life through dance
Are you ready to celebrate life and connect with each other and the self? Light the flame in your body, heart, and soul. Spirituality is not just hard work. In its essence, its flavor is one of bliss and joy. During this program, there will be several sessions in which they will invite you to find freedom through movement, dance, and music.
Divine love through Bhakti yoga
Bhakti yoga is the yoga of devotion and pure love. Only when love flows can you experience unity. In Bhakti yoga, this love is directed towards the source, in whatever way you may see it or name it. The source is not just outside; it is the very essence of your being. You will connect to the healing vibrations of singing mantras and come together in a circle to chant kirtan and devotional songs. For people wondering about it, yoga is not a religion.
Connect to the elements
Every day will be dedicated to one element. You will experience its quality through the yoga sessions, and there will be time every day to find a spot in nature, in silence and solitude, in which you feel the resonance and connection with that specific element. During this time, you are invited to meditate and write in your journal. Another beautiful way to honor the mystery and energy of the elements is by making a mandala (sacred form/altar). They will bring together offerings from nature (wood, seeds, flowers, grass, stones) and weave them together with prayer or mindful action into a vibrant and beautiful form. All of this, plus yoga philosophy and Satsang (being in truth together), is included in the program.

Instructors
Paulina Gostomski
Paulina first came to yoga in 2003, and yoga and meditation have been at the heart of her life ever since. Over the years, she’s guided retreats, teacher trainings, and workshops across Mexico and Europe, and what inspires her most is seeing the peace and transformation these practices bring to people from all walks of life. She’s trained with many teachers, completed two 200-hour trainings, and in 2017 finished the 500-hour Hridaya Teacher Training. Teaching has been part of her journey since 2012, yet she remains a lifelong student.
Floris Adriaenssens
Floris started his yoga practice in Belgium in 2008. Through a dedicated and continuous practice, he has discovered the deep transformation and purification on all levels that it has brought and continues to bring. Since he met Paulina in 2011, he has been living mostly in yoga ashrams, communities and schools in Mexico, India, Spain and France. Floris has been teaching over the last years more than 10 yoga teacher trainings, as well as many other retreats, courses and classes. He has learned yoga from different teachers and traditions.
Location
The retreat will take place in Ananda Forest, a retreat center nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada near Orgiva. The land is home to many ancient olive trees, fruit trees, birds, wild animals, and has an incredible beauty and power to reconnect you to nature. It is a place to come home to your true essence.

All meals are included and prepared with great care. They serve healthy, delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced vegan meals. An option for eggs may be available. They use home-grown and organic ingredients where possible. They always use locally sourced ingredients to prepare nutritious raw, vegan, and vegetarian dishes. Let food be your medicine. The chef will show you how to give yourself what you are craving without giving into unhealthy habits.
For example, sharing delicious raw cake recipes, healthy raw chocolate, and probiotic foods. They are happy to accommodate the needs of guests with allergies to particular foods. They also often prepare gluten and dairy-free meals – all served with love. Please let them know if you have any special needs so that their chefs can take care of them. They see this retreat as a wonderfully gentle way to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. Your body will be renewed in several ways.
