Pre-application requirements
No previous certificate is needed. You will need a computer with a good internet connection, a yoga mat, a meditation pillow, a blanket, two yoga blocks, and a yoga belt.
How the training works
This training is self-paced so you can finish it between two and six months. You can start as soon as you have registered for the training, and complete it whenever you want. Throughout the training period, you are assessed for competency through written and practical assignments to ensure they are meeting the learning objectives of the training. This includes:
- Theoretical exam: The final exam consists of quiz questions according to all the different themes you have learned throughout the training. You can repeat as often as you need to solve the questions, and you can take as much time as you need
- Practical exam: Develop a beginner Hatha yoga class
- Practical exam: Develop a intermediate Vinyasa yoga class
Course information
This training is suitable for yoga practitioners from all levels of practice; beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Gayatri Yoga encourages students from all backgrounds with different levels of experience to join the course, even if they do not want to teach others. The training is for all students who want to learn and deepen their knowledge.
You follow the classic Indian traditions of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga which include; Sivananda, Satyananda, Yin and Vinyasa Yoga. Yoga is a vast subject area with many traditions and styles, the course includes the study of; Ashtanga, Raja, Bhakti, Jnana, Kriya, and Karma yoga. It is based on a systematic and progressive learning approach designed to get trainees to teach safely and effectively.

Yoga Alliance certification
If your wish is to become a member of Yoga Alliance you would need to complete the online training with 30 live classes, which you can book for an extra fee in the high of 135 EUR with the Online Lead Trainer, Aarti.
Once completed your training including the needed live classes you are certified with the diploma of a Yoga Teacher. With this certification you can register with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200). Please note that it is not a must to register with Yoga Alliance. It is a matter of personal choice to become a member of Yoga Alliance.
Instructors
Aarti
Aarti did her first Yoga Teacher Training 2017 and continued her studies of Krama Vinyasa Yoga. She deepened her studies with another Yoga Teacher Training in Aerial Yoga. Her extensive knowledge in isometric training allows her to focus her classes in core work and stability. 2022 Aarti did her Advanced Yoga and Ayurveda Teacher Training in Portugal. These teachings are rich in and the prevention and overcome of Trauma. Aarti has been working with us for many years, and is now the Lead Trainer for our Online Yoga Teacher Training Course.
