BAVA Beach Resort and Retreat Center
A combination of spiritual modesty and contemporary luxury, BAVA Varkala offers an ashram-like atmosphere in its central house with 10 beautiful rooms and yoga shala, in addition to the modern "Miami Beach-style" building with 8 deluxe rooms.

During the course, attendance in all classes is essential to maintain consistency and progress. Exceptions are made only in cases of emergencies or illness, with prior approval from the respective teacher. Any unapproved absences may impact the student’s overall performance.
The course requires a high level of self-motivation and commitment, as yoga practice and teaching demand discipline and purity. Participants are expected to actively engage in all activities, including spiritual practices, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
To uphold the sanctity of the practice, certain lifestyle restrictions are in place. Consumption of meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, and tobacco is strictly prohibited, as is the use of drugs or engaging in nudity. These rules are designed to foster an environment of focus, discipline, and inner transformation. Non-compliance may lead to dismissal, ensuring that the sanctity of the practice and the learning environment is maintained for all participants.

Chakali Naresh
Sai Naresh, as he is known by his friends and students, is the founder and principal instructor of Lalitha Yoga Academy (LYA). Born and brought up in Puttaparthi, famous as the birthplace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and one of the important spiritual places of India, he started his yoga career in 2016 as a meditation teacher and then continued his studies in Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa flow, and teachers training course certification. He is currently teaching and practicing Multi-style yoga.
Abhishek Rawat
Hailing from Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World, Abhishek’s journey into yoga began early, and he earned a Master’s Degree in Yoga Science from Sanskrit Gurukul Vishwavidyalaya in Haridwar, India. He’s also completed a 500- hour TTC. Abhishek is passionate about using yoga to promote natural healing and disease prevention. He emphasizes that yoga’s power lies within you, and it’s a tool to unlock your potential. His mission is to share the wisdom he’s gained from his teachers to help people discover true meaning in life through yoga and meditation.
