All accommodation during the time of the course is provided and is included in your course fees. The school is just two minutes walk from the beach. Students can go to relax, explore, and watch the sunset. It has easy access to shops. All rooms have attached bathrooms with hot water and shower facilities and a balcony.
Bedding is provided and towels are available upon request. Laundry facilities are not included but students are able to wash their own clothes and laundry services can be arranged and inquired about at the reception. Wi-Fi is available. Students are ensured a comfortable space in their rooms to relax and rest during the course but will be spending most of their time in the shala.

Students will experience how all the yogic practices can be woven together for deep insights into yoga as living art and spiritual awakening, and it is from here that the true teacher or practitioner arises. The training will prepare you with all the tools and confidence you need to become a yoga teacher and will propel you forward on your personal yoga journey.
The theme of the teacher training is to make you understand the principles of different styles of yoga. The core of Rūh Yoga focuses would be on Hatha yoga as its one of the ancient styles of yoga through which all other styles have emerged, you will go through each posture key alignments how to move into the posture and how to come out of it when to breathe in and breathe out of it contra-indications benefits and also how to sequence the postures how to do adjustments in the postures.
Principles of sequencing will be taught so that students can create a Vinyasa flow sequence according to the need of their students or the class. Learning Sanskrit names of postures to both expand your knowledge and enhance your professional skills.
Ashtanga yoga
- The elements of Ashtanga yoga: Vinyasa (breath-synchronized motion), Ujjayi pranayama (victorious breathing), bandhas (inner locks), drishti (gaze points)

Course content in detail
This 200-hour yoga teacher training program incorporates training hours in the following educational categories and topics.
Practice techniques
Practice techniques of 80 postures which include standing postures, seated, back bending, core, inverted, arm balances, and restorative will go through each posture of the different group individually to have clear knowledge modifications, other variations, and advance variation of all postures.
Practical theory
Corrections, modifications, and variations are taught with each posture to make your practice easy plus to offer variations when you teach.
Teaching practice
Teaching practice includes practice teaching, receiving feedback, observing others teaching, hearing, and giving feedback, and also includes assisting students while someone else is teaching. You will start to teach from day one. Students get to teach every day from day one. You will teach for at least 20 minutes every day from day one. You may also teach at least one full open class during the course.
Regular feedback is given by teachers and fellow students about your teaching so that you can improve and find your unique voice and style as a teacher. You will learn to give hands-on adjustments.

Anatomy

Akhilesh KR
Akhilesh, E-RYT 500hrs yoga instructor with the decade of yoga teaching experience in the styles of Hatha Vinyasa Ashtanga was introduced to yoga at the age of 17 and started to teach at corporates in Infosys, Dell, Accenture. In 2010 he completed his 200-hour teacher training, 500-hour in 2012 in Bangalore, and additional 250-hour in Mysore. Yoga has been a part of his life for over 10 years, and his practice has helped him grow stronger and flexible, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires him to live each moment more mindfully. He will always be a student of the practice.

Rūh Yoga is located just two minutes walk from one of the finest beaches Agonda in Goa, which has been ranked number one in the Asia list of the annual travelers’ choice awards for beaches. Famous for its three kilometer-long white sand beach with cozy shacks, one of the best place to enjoy your yoga training you have easy access to shops and restaurants around so you do not have to spend on traveling to the beach or for shopping around.
