Yogi Naveen

This yoga teacher training course will be held in Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttrakhand, India. The Sun YTTC is located near the local market, making it easy for you to visit and buy things for your daily needs.

The Sun YTTC Rishikesh will provide you with three meals a day. These will mainly consist of vegetables and fruits that are organic, lactose-free, yogic, and Ayurvedic.

Yoga needs positive energy, hard work, and dedication. To get this, one should eat the right food. Now, you might be thinking about what the right food is. In the Hindu Vedas, it is said that food is Brahma - that is, god. If food is taken in a good mood-inducing, energetic, clean, and peaceful place, then it is like nectar.

Yoga is completely related to diet. There is an old proverb, "What you eat, so becomes your mind." This means that what type of food one takes, their mind will become like that.

The real meaning of yoga is the regulation or control of the mind. Thus, it is clear that to control the mind, it is necessary to practice both diet and yoga.

  • Tamasic diet - Undercooked, juiceless, foul-smelling, stale, and spoiled food comes in the category of tamasic diet
  • Rajasic diet - Bitter, sour, salty, very hot, spicy food comes under the category of Rajasic diet
  • Sattvic diet - juicy, smooth, and stable food comes under the category of the sattvic diet

It is clear that those who love concentration, peace, and health of mind must make their diet sattvic, balanced, and natural.
