Welcome to this hybrid Yin yoga teacher training in Suffolk, England. To be the best version of yourself, you are asked to be prepared to work intensively over the 40 hours you are in the training and be open and willing to learn. There will be two main teachers: Tina Brewer and Keely Warren; both are elders in yogic terms with many hours of dedicated yogic and teaching practice. You will be expected to be in the classroom or studio by 8 a.m. most mornings, and there will be some evenings to attend also. You will have time to unwind in the evenings.

Accommodation
The accommodation is set in a tranquil and beautiful part of Church Farm. You will be staying in the converted granary or the stables. There are two single rooms, one shared room, and a double bedroom in the granary.
The stables have three single rooms and one double bedroom. The bathrooms are shared. The accommodations are fully equipped with dishwashers and washing machines, and Wi-Fi is also onsite.
Program
Pre-application requirements
- You will ideally have been an accredited yoga teacher with at least two years of teaching experience or a Yin student with several years of proven class attendance and have a passion for Yin.
- Perhaps you already hold a teaching diploma in many other complementary care disciplines and wish to enhance yours and others lives. Sometimes passion is the most important element of all; if you are passionate and excited, you will excel at any given subject.
How the training works
40 hours will be spent in person with Tina Brewer and Keely Warren as your lead teachers. 10 hours of theory (in your own time, before training if possible) will be accessed via Google School.

- History of Yin and the relationship with Hatha
- Principals of Yin yoga
- Precautions and contra-indications
- Anatomy of the joints, ligaments and tendons
- Anatomy and physiology regarding the practice of Yin
- Meridians and energy flow
- Fascia stretching
- Exploring and practicing over 20 Yin postures
- Exploring the differences between Yin yoga and Restorative yoga
- Using props
- Use of the breath in the practice of Yin yoga
- The role of meditation and the relationship with Yin during practice
- 2 x one-hour Yin classes
- Teaching practice
- Lesson planning for beginner, intermediate, advanced students
- Handouts and manuals supplied
Instructors
Keely Warren
Keely Warren has been working as a holistic therapist since 1997 after gaining a diploma in acupressure and massage. She along with her mother also taught aromatherapy massage, reflexology, and Reiki for those wishing to train as holistic therapists.
Tina Brewer
Tina trained in Hatha yoga but incorporates a range of disciplines into a very healing experience. Tina also practices Zen and is an experienced teacher of many years.
Location
TK Yoga is situated in historic Framlingham in a beautiful Suffolk town. The famous Framlingham Castle and Mere are within walking distance, as are lots of nice bistro cafes and places to eat out. The student accommodation is quiet and tranquil and just five minutes away.
There are lots of bridal ways and places to walk. Saxtead is five minutes away and boasts a working windmill. It is fairly close to Aldeburgh on Sea, Dunwich, Minsmere, and Sizewell. Snape Maltings is also quite close by. The whole Suffolk area is very beautiful.

All meals are prepared freshly daily.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at London Stansted Airport (STN). Airport transfer is not included in the price. From Stansted Airport, there are several National Express coaches that run daily to Ipswich. From Ipswich, you can catch a local bus to Framlingham.
Arrival by train
If arriving by train into Wickham Market train station, you can catch the Katch bus. It will drop you right outside the TK Yoga Studio. Telephone 01728 635939 to book the Katch bus. (about 2.00 or 3.00 GBP)
Arrival by car
If arriving by car, there is a free car park situated less than a minute from the TK Yoga Studio.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 10 days before arrival.
