Origin of Yin yoga
Yin yoga originates from the Taoist precept of Yin and Yang, two opposite natures complementary to each other. Yin yoga is a powerful, slow, and delicate shape of yoga that provides a deeper effect on tendons and muscle groups with its meditative impact. In this shape of yoga, asanas are blended with pranayama and meditation with a passive rest alongside with deep opening.
The postures in this structure of yoga are broadly speaking practiced on the flooring and held for a longer length. The purpose is to have a deeper impact on physique tissues, tendons, and muscle groups whilst connecting the soul through a meditative approach. It is about letting go of distinct feelings to delve into a more severe connection with the soul.
Yin yoga works with muscle mass and connective tissues, which are regarded as nearly resistant to the flexibility of the human body. With its longer length of pose-holding and exercise of breath control, Yin yoga affords a surprisingly deeper influence whilst guiding in the route of entire calmness. Asanas in Yin yoga are pretty similar to that of Indian Hatha yoga, however practiced.
