Yoga therapy teacher training course program, one thing is very clear you only can cure disease through traditional yoga practice and through some variation of traditional yoga otherwise through modern yoga it is not possible.

Modern yoga is good to practice (Hatha, Astanga, Vinyasa) but for this type of yoga practice, you should prepare your body as without preparation it's hard to practice.

General rules

  • Silence should be maintained between 22:00 and morning
  • Regular homework should be completed
  • All classes are mandatory to attend unless you are ill
  • As a part of the evaluation procedure, there will be an assessment for certification
  • Arogya Yoga School reserves the right to disqualify any students at any time during the course of misconduct
  • During asana practice, you have to leave all jewelry, books, extra clothing, book bags, and *purses in your room (only yoga mat and water bottles permitted in yoga hall)
  • Management expects all students to clear your practice space immediately following your practices

Principles and guidelines

  • Teaching starts early in the morning
  • Respectful behavior is mandatory at all times on and off the premises
  • Respect the rules and regulations of Arogya Yoga School
  • Before departure from Arogya Yoga School, students must return all books from the library
  • Non vegetarian food, smoking, and drinking alcohol are not allowed on the Arogya Yoga School premises

First Sunday Kunjapuri Devi Temple

Kunjapuri Devi Temple, a sacred temple of great importance to Hinduism, is Kunjapuri Devi Temple. Kunjapuri Devi Temple, which is located 1676 meters high on a hill, is one of 52 Shaktipeeth of Uttarakhand.

Kunjapuri Devi Temple receives devotees from faraway places during Navratri Festival and Dussehra Festival. This grand celebration is held at the temple. Kunjapuri Devi Temple completes the three Siddha Peeths that are located on top of mountains in TehriGarhwal district. The triangle of Siddha Peeths is completed by Kunja Puri–Surkanda Devi–Chandrabadni.

Second Sunday Triveni Ghat's Ganga Aarti

Triveni Ghat's Ganga Aarti (also known as the Maha Aarti) is an evening prayer on the banks of the River Ganga. This is a highlight of the ghat that attracts many devotees as well as visitors.

Aarti is often accompanied by chanting bhajans, beating drums, and bells. People light oil diyas and place them on leaf-filled boats filled with flowers. Then they release the oil into the holy waters. The evening is beautiful with the illuminated lamps.

Third Sunday Beatles Ashram

The Beatles Ashram (also known as Chaurasi Kutia) is an ashram located in Uttarakhand, a state in north India. It is located in the Himalayas, on the eastern bank of the Ganges River.

Fourth Sunday Village Tour

The soul of Uttarakhand resides in its villages with the majority of its population living in villages and hamlets in a peaceful and calm environment far away from the hustle-bustle of city life. Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Rishikesh by car is a 6-7 hours journey. Arogya Yoga School has a transportation package for 150 USD that covers your airport pick-up from Delhi to Rishikesh (by car) and a drop back to the Delhi Airport after completion of the course. One way transportation i.e. Delhi airport to Rishikesh can also be availed for 70 USD. In case your flight arrives late night and you want to stay overnight in Delhi, you may find a lot of hotels near the airport to stay the night. Pick up can be arranged for the next morning.

The travel arrangements are executed under the supervision of professionals and Arogya Yoga School is always ready with a back-up plan, in case of emergencies. Another good option is to travel by train (airport to New Delhi train station by car or Metro, then by train to Haridwar and from Haridwar to Rishikesh by car). Travel by bus is quite cheap but a bit inconvenient for first-time visitors.
