This training is not just a professional development course - it is a powerful investment in yourself.
Yes, you will walk away with a certificate and practical skills to confidently teach children’s yoga. But beyond that, you will gain your own toolkit for managing stress, reconnecting to play, and supporting your own mental and emotional well-being. You will deepen your personal practice, reignite your creativity, and become part of an open-minded, supportive global community.
Many Divine Light Yoga trainees say this is one of the most positive and transformational experiences they have ever had. It is like a retreat, a training, and a new beginning all in one.
This is a journey that nourishes you long after the plane ride home.
This training is designed for both yoga teachers who want to expand their careers into children’s yoga, as well as educators, therapists, parents, and anyone passionate about sharing yoga, mindfulness, mental health, and emotional well-being with children and teens. Whether you are looking to deepen your impact, diversify your teaching, or bring meaningful well-being tools to the young people you support, this training will equip you with everything you need.
You do not need any previous experience teaching yoga or working with children — Divine Light Yoga will guide you through everything step by step.
While many Divine Light Yoga trainees are already yoga teachers or professionals in education and child-related fields, this course welcomes anyone with an open heart and a genuine desire to support children’s well-being.
Trainees consistently finish the training feeling confident, inspired, and ready to teach. Many arrive thinking they will only share yoga with their own families - but leave feeling motivated and equipped to bring these practices into schools, studios, therapy settings, and their wider communities.
The 95-hour training gives you everything you need to teach professionally and meaningfully, anywhere in the world.
What Can You Do After Completing This Training?
One of the most exciting parts of becoming a certified Children’s Yoga Teacher is how many meaningful and creative pathways open up for you. After completing this training, you will be equipped to teach confidently in a wide range of settings, both locally and globally.
Graduates of the Divine Light Yoga programme go on to teach in:
- International schools and kindergartens (after-school clubs, well-being programmes, enrichment classes)
- Yoga studios offering kids, teens, and family yoga
- Community centres and NGO programmes supporting children
- Early years and play-based centres
- Therapeutic settings, working alongside counsellors, occupational therapists, and SEN teams
- Holiday camps and wellness retreats
- Private one-to-one sessions for children who need personalised support
- Parent–child classes including toddler yoga and family sessions
Many graduates also start their own businesses, running workshops, school programmes, community classes, and even dedicated children’s yoga studios.
Whether you want to expand your yoga career, bring well-being into your school, or build something entirely your own, this training gives you the skills, confidence, and credibility to take your work in whatever direction feels aligned.
And because Divine Light Yoga wants you to leave this training already in motion, a full workshop at the end of training is dedicated to getting you clear, focused, and taking aligned action — so by the time you leave, you will have already taken confident steps toward setting up your children’s yoga classes and business before returning home.
