Program
Yin yoga is a meditative and grounding type of yoga, stretching the deep tissues and encouraging mindfulness and inner stillness. Based on the Taoist philosophy of Yin and Yang, opposite and complementary forces, Yin is a slow, deep, and reflective method that exercises passive floor postures held for a long time. These floor postures are held for 4 to 6 minutes, and they go deep into the connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments, which are considered the greatest barrier to flexibility.
Using asanas, pranayama, and meditative stillness, Yin Yoga helps practitioners release physical tension, emotional release, and healing, thereby connecting deeper with the self. Unlike dynamic yang styles, Yin yoga offers a unique doorway into calm, healing, and energy restoration.
