This beautiful yoga ashram, Shiva Yoga Goa, located in the coastal town of Arambol, Goa, where along with a licensed yoga teacher training under Yoga Alliance, participants also experience real yoga through community living celebrating ceremonies, morning poojas, silent hours, and by taking care of medicinal plants and rescued animals. Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Classes (Yoga Teacher Training Studying Program)
Asana Practices
This helps you become a skilled instructor in yoga and meditation. They have expertise in various types of yoga postures, including standing, seated, forward bends, back bends, spinal rotations, and inversions, as well as positions where the practitioner is lying on their front or back.
Teaching Methodologies
A yoga teacher's responsibilities typically include designing and sequencing yoga classes, using techniques to adjust students' poses, and providing hands-on assistance as needed. They get knowledge about proper alignment for each posture and potential risks associated with certain poses.
Yoga Anatomy
Topics that may be covered in yoga training could include the digestive system, respiratory system, and circulatory system, as well as the language of motion and skeletal anatomy. Understanding how muscles function in essential yoga poses could also be a key component of this training.
Meditation and Pranayama
Involves learning various breathing techniques, including abdominal breathing, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), and Kapalabhati breath along with structured methods to cultivate inner calmness, with the ultimate goal of achieving Samadhi (self-realization)

Rules and regulations at Shiva Yoga
- Lights will be turned off at 22:00, and no noise should be made after that.
- Please use bluetooth or headphones to avoid disturbing others.
- Do not eat inside the dorm.
- Smoking and drinking are not allowed.
- Any individual from Shiva Yoga who stays in the house and misbehaves, disrespects others, smokes, or drinks on the premises can be immediately removed without prior warning.
- Please take care of your belongings. The Shiva Yoga team is not responsible for them.
- Keep the washroom clean.
- There will be extra charges for laundry.
- Do not waste food, food will be self-service. Please wash your plates and glasses after using them.
- Your consent for content creation is valued. If you are not comfortable with photos or videos, please inform the organizers in advance.
- If you are not comfortable with physical adjustments and alignment of asanas, please inform the organizers in advance.
- Please clean the mats after class and roll them up for storage.
- Don't bring outsiders into and around the shala and engaging in conversations and forming close connections with outsiders within the Shiva Yoga premises is strictly prohibited.
- Access to the dorm is restricted to residents only; outsiders are not permitted
- 90% attendance is compulsory for the course, except in cases of sickness.
- Conversation and discussion about alcohol, drugs, and any substances around the Shala are prohibited.
- If you go outside, please return before 22:30.
- Only vegetarian food is permitted in yoga shala.
- This Shala was created with a lot of positive energy and love, so please respect the space.
- Please let the organizers know about your food preferences(vegan/glutton-free, lactose-free to make necessary arrangements).
Important information
Each course has 2 batches, 15-20 student capacity.
- Batch 1- Beginners Batch (100, 200 hours and Retreat students)
- Batch 2- Advanced Batch (300 hours and intermediate students)
Asana, Anatomy, Philosophy, Ayurveda, Adjustment and Alignment classes run separately for batch 1 and batch 2 students but outings and workshops practice will be together.
