From a very young age, Mindi was singing, dancing, and playing various instruments. As a soulful yoga teacher, Mindi has an uncanny ability to weave her musical gifts of singing and drumming in her yoga classes and enjoys finding new ways to inspire students on their own path of transformation. Listening to the transformational calling of her heart and her special connection to the land, Mindi decided to pursue both her 200-hour and 500-hour teacher training at the Mystical Yoga Farm. Over the course of several years, Mindi has accumulated nearly 1000 hours in trainings.

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on the briny Atlantic coast of Canada, Kate has been working in the service of pregnant women for seven years and teaching yoga for three years. Starting her journey in the birth world as a volunteer doula, she immediately knew, in her bones, that this work was a calling. After several years of offering support to women birthing in hospitals, gaining ever more experience, much of the standard protocols and common procedures of medicalized birth ceased to make any sense to me at all.
